this body of my work relates to the pivotal way that technology has played a recent role in human connection.
as i've traveled the developed world, it's becoming more apparent that people are starting to become unaware of the space around them. for better or for worse, in a span of a few years, humans have adapted to have a smartphone in hand seemingly at all times, blurring out the living world around them
situations that had the possibility of sparking a conversation with a stranger now become less frequent. giving someone a few moments of your time to talk and learn something about them becomes improbable. complimenting someone who is internally struggling never has the opportunity to exist
connection is what makes us human.
